Who is responsible for your data

We handle personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.

What we collect

When you place an order

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you choose to give one
• Your delivery area and the street, estate or landmark you give us
• Any notes you add to the order
• The items, quantities and totals in your order

When you contact us

• Your name, phone number, email if given, and the content of your message

Automatically, as you browse

• A session cookie that remembers what is in your cart
• Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps

We never collect payment card numbers, M-Pesa PINs, bank credentials or passwords. There is no payment gateway on this website — see our payment policy.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary, and we never sell your data. Recipients may include:

• Couriers and delivery riders — your name, phone number and delivery address, so they can deliver to you.
• Manufacturers or distributors — where you make a warranty claim that they must assess.
• Our hosting provider — which stores the site and its database on our behalf.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — when you choose to continue your order in a WhatsApp chat, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms.
• Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise our products through Google. If we run analytics or advertising tags on this site, they may set cookies used to measure the performance of our ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and manage Google's ad personalisation through your Google account.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for at least seven years, as required for tax and accounting purposes. Enquiry messages are kept for up to two years. Cart session data is discarded shortly after your session ends.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the admin system is restricted to authorised staff with individual accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:

• Be told what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your data
• Complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date shown above.
